As you can imagine it has still been very quiet during this latest lockdown.
I have had a few of my regulars still needing walks due to work or shielding so have been able to get out and about regularly. Even bumped into a few of our regular boarders and owners on our walks so been lovely to see them and say Hello so they know I haven't vanished completely.
The weather has been all over the place so had a real mix of walks, even in the space of a couple of days it changes so much. No coats needed the last few days but today it was chilly again. Some of the dogs love the cold and snow, Biffy loves to catch a snowball though even he has had enough of the cold by the end of the hour. The sun's reappearance and slightly warmer days meant that old boy Herbie has been able to join us a couple of times which has been lovely. Poor thing can't cope with the old so we don't inflict it on him, his Grandson Buddy doesn't even bat an eyelid at leaving him behind.
The boarding has been almost non-existent unsurprisingly, had a couple of days where people have needed me for authorised days away from Bury but otherwise we are just counting down the days, like the rest of the world I suspect, until people can go on holidays again. Fingers crossed!
Looking forward to a time when I can welcome back all of my furry friends and have lots of cuddles and trips to the beach with them!
Hope you are all safe and well!
